We treat your yard just before mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas become active—usually in March. From then until November, you’ll receive monthly treatments to keep your yard and family protected from these pesky yard pests. If there is snow in your area later or earlier than expected, you won’t be billed, and we won’t treat your yard.

The price will depend on the square footage or acreage of the property and the number of pests the customer wants treated. These factors can be discussed when the customer calls to arrange an appointment.

Yes, current Fox customers get a discount for participating in multiple pest control plans.

If the customer has not signed the agreement before the first appointment, then they will need to be home to do that. After the initial appointment, the customer does not have to be home at the time of service as long as the technician has access to the property, and pets are inside. When making an appointment, the customer can state that they will not be home, and the technician will leave them a detailed report of the services performed.

The products and procedures used to service the Yard Enjoyment Plan are extremely effective, and their impact increases with each visit. As treatments are done on a routine schedule, we catch mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas in each stage of their development and stop their ability to mature and reproduce. Customers will see a dramatic reduction in mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas in their yards as they maintain this plan. The Yard Enjoyment Plan is even more effective when neighboring yards are being serviced, so customers should refer their friends, too!

During the treatment, pets need to be out of the yard. Once the product is dry (about 30 minutes after the treatment), it is ready for dogs, cats, and other animals to re-enter the yard. The products used in the Yard Enjoyment Plan treatment are EPA-approved and intended for use in areas people and pets have access to, including the yard. However, the residue left on foliage is effectively harmful to mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas that land on or crawl into the treated areas.

If there are special conditions, the technician will make the best decision for the most effective treatment. The technician will customize the service at the time of the appointment.
